BSCAI names new leadership, Board of Directors

CHICAGO — The Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) announced the newly-elected members of its executive leadership and board of directors, according to a press release.
According to the release, the 2010 executive committee consists of: J. Michael Horgan as president; Sally Schopmeyer as president-elect; Terry Woodley as vice president; Kevin S. Rohan as treasurer; and Stanley Doobin as past-president.
The new executive members all have years of experience in the industry and a long list of accomplishments and professional affiliations, the release stated.
New President J. Michael Horgan has served over 40 years in the industry and is a former vice-president and treasurer of BSCAI; President-elect Sally Schopmeyer is president of Maintenance Inc. and on the Advisory Board of the Dallas Children''s Theater; Vice President Terry Woodley is vice president and chief operating officer of Woodley Building Maintenance (WBM) and previously worked at Touche Ross (now known as Deloitte); Treasurer Kevin S. Rohan started Cavalier Services in 1977 and he has been a past president and board member of the Capitol Association of Building Service Contractors; and Past President Stanley Doobin became president of Harvard Maintenance Inc. in 1992 and is on the board of directors for New Destiny Housing Corp., a not-for-profit that provides housing and support services for survivors of domestic violence, the release stated.
In addition, four new members were elected to serve on the BSCAI 2010 Board of Directors, joining the eight current members that will continue service this year, the release added.
