SALT LAKE CITY — Bridgewater Inc.
has partnered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) in developing environmentally-oriented carpet cleaners as part of the Design for Environment
(DfE) program, according to a press release.
"DfE program seeks to promote the use of products with improved environmental and human health characteristics," said Clive Davies, chief of the Design for Environment program.
"The key purpose of the DfE-Bridgewater partnership is to recognize and encourage environmentally preferable chemistry," Davies added.
Doyle Bloss, chemical brand manager for Bridgewater Inc., stated that "this partnership is a natural progression in our continuing effort to improve the environmental profile and performance of our cleaning products."
