Paint and Coating Leader Engages with Thousands; Sharing Solutions Designed to Help Professionals Build Better Businesses

SANTA ANA, Calif — Behr Process Corporation, an experienced and trusted provider of paint and coatings, announced that its professional products and services program, BehrProSM, completed its first nationwide mobile experience tour engaging with professional contractors, remodelers and painting contractors, and sharing its extensive product and service offerings. The five-month tour, which took place at more than 400 Home Depot stores, was specifically designed with the professional in mind—demonstrating how Behr’s high-performing paint products and service solutions can help professionals improve and grow their businesses.

“Our primary goal with The BehrPro Experience Tour was to extend our hospitality and engage with professionals to share the benefits of relying on our award-winning products and services tailored specifically to their needs,” said Joe Richardson, senior vice president of professional products and services for Behr Process Corporation. “We’re thrilled to have achieved a strong turnout and are confident that successful events such as these will continue to reinforce our commitment to providing the resources pros need to help meet their bottom line.”

More than 31,000 people attended The BehrPro Experience Tour in cities across the country, including Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Miami and New York to meet with regional BehrPro sales representatives. Attendees had the opportunity to experience durable paints—including BEHR PREMIUM PLUS ULTRA®, BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® and Masterchem Industries’ KILZ PRO-X™—through a series of interactive demonstrations that showcased the family of products’ hide capabilities, strong adhesion, expansive color options, stain resistance and smooth application abilities, among other benefits. In total, more than 4,000 product demonstrations were conducted by the BehrPro team. Additionally, tour guests received details about BehrPro’s factory tinting, color services, available volume pricing and Direct to ProSM service—a suite of tools and service offerings designed to help professionals efficiently and cost-effectively manage their businesses.

In conjunction with the mobile tour, BehrPro hosted a sweepstakes offering all tour visitors the chance to win a Ford F-150. The sweepstakes winner will be announced in January 2012.
