ASHLAND, MA — A former Ashland High School janitor, charged with stealing money and other items from lockers and gym bags, will be on probation for a year and a half, according to The MetroWest Daily News.
Wesley Jarrell, 22, admitted there were sufficient facts to find him guilty of four counts of larceny of property worth more than $250 and 11 counts of larceny of property worth less than $250, the article stated.
Judge Paul Healy Jr. continued the case for 18 months and placed Jarrell on probation for that time: If Jarrell is not arrested or charged with any crimes in that time period, the charges will be dropped, the article noted.
According to police reports filed in court, the thefts began in January when students would leave items in their gym lockers and in their bags while they took gym class or participated in team practices: Apple iPods, cash and other items were reported missing.
