MONTREAL — John F. Kennedy High School and Business Centre will remain closed due to asbestos testing for another day, according to the CBC News.
Three weeks ago, traces of asbestos were found in two ventilation rooms in the school, and the school performed asbestos abatement to get rid of the substance, the article stated.
According to the article, precautionary testing performed in other parts of the building found additional traces of the dangerous material.
The school was closed for two days last week for advanced testing and will remain closed today, the article noted.
