HUNTSVILLE, AL — Food services firm Aramark Corporation filed a mass-layoff notice last week with the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, according to the Birmingham News.
Effective November 28, 163 individuals will no longer be employed with the company, the story stated.
The soon-to-be displaced workers are with Aramark''s Health Care Support Services division, which provides food, clinical and management services to hospitals and other health care facilities, the story noted.
Aramark is one of the nation''s largest suppliers of dining and building management services, employing over 250,000 people worldwide, the story added.
