CHICAGO — Alliance Disaster Kleenup (ADK) has been named the winner of the prestigious 2011 Phoenix Award by the Restoration Industry Association (RIA), according to a press release.

The award, given for innovation in restoration and reconstruction, was awarded to the company for illustrating the skill and expertise required to manage catastrophic incidents and restore properties damaged by a multitude of perils including flood, fire and storm, the release stated.

As the highest honor an organization can receive, the Phoenix Award provides a showcase for excellence and innovation in the field of property restoration and is recognized internationally and throughout North America by restoration firms and insurance carriers alike, the release noted.

"The Phoenix Awards illustrate the best aspects of the restoration industry," said RIA''s Director of Communications Patricia Harman, who manages the recipient review and vetting process.

"These winners are prime examples of the knowledge, innovation and ingenuity required by restoration professionals on a daily basis," Harman added.

"We are humbled and proud to be recognized in such a way that allows our organization of hard working and dedicated individuals to be honored for everything they do, and the extraordinarily high level of service that we provide to our community and clients," said Justin Tubero, president of Alliance Disaster Kleenup.
