Al Gore to keynote 2009 Greenbuild Conference

PHOENIX — Former vice president of the United States Al Gore will be the keynote speaker at the 2009 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, according to a press release.
According to the release, the event will take place at Chase Field, home of Major League Baseball''s Arizona Diamondbacks, on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
Gore, who has served four terms in Congress, two terms in the U.S. Senate and two terms as vice president, has written several books, including: Earth in the Balance; An Inconvenient Truth; and Our Choice, the release stated.
The first 5,000 full-conference attendee registrants will receive a complimentary copy of Gore''s latest book, Our Choice, the release noted.
Gore is chairman of Generation Investment Management LLP, a firm focused on a new approach to sustainable investing; a visiting professor at Middle Tennessee State University; and chair to The Alliance for Climate Protection, a non-profit organization designed to help solve the climate crisis, the release added.
