FALLS CHURCH, VA — The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) announces an open comment period for an updated AIHA/ANSI Z10 standard, according to a press release.
This standard defines minimum performance requirements for occupational health and safety management systems (OHSMS), the release stated.
According to the release, the open comment period began March 30, 2012, and runs until May 14, 2012.
The design of ANSI Z10 encourages integration with other management systems to facilitate organizational effectiveness using the elements of Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model as the basis for continual improvement, the release noted.
