Designation Gives Members Access to Expertise in the Growing Green Movement

TUSCALOOSA, AL— Michael Wilson, Associate Director of Marketing at AFFLINK, has achieved the designation of LEED® Accredited Professional.

Completing the five-part examination earlier this fall, Wilson demonstrated knowledge of the green building practices required for successful implementation of the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating System™.
The LEED® rating system encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.
“Having a LEED-AP on staff gives our Members access to the expertise needed to assist their customers in acquiring LEED status,” says Dennis Riffer, AFFLINK president and CEO. “Michael has been at the forefront of the Green movement in our industry for years, and his passion in this field has transpired into the development of the Sustainable Choices™ program—an AFFLINK-only education, certification and marketing initiative that positions our Members as experts of choice on this growing trend.”
