ICAN/ATEX: What should I charge for interior painting?

This is a two story 90,000 sq. ft. empty building; it has approximately 1000 sq ft of dry wall and texture repair. It has 6 stairwells as well as 6 large bay doors and 8 metal interior doors.

There approx. 20 metal support posst requesting safety yellow 10 ft up. The posts are about 20 ft. No ceilings and 4 offices.

What is a fair price per sq ft to paint the bldg all white shadow with, of course, spot priming and industrial paint?

Tuesday’s Answer:

No one answered before because interior painting usually is not within the job description of most cleaning contractors.

However, your answer lies in the measurements of what you wish to do.

Find out the exact sq. footage you need to cover, learn the coverage of the paint you intend to use, and do the math.

Same with the tape and other supplies.

Then, add in your labor rate for the time needed to do the work in whatever manner you intend to do it.
