Kevin S. Harris is the director of maintenance and operations for the Clear Creek Independent School District in League City, Texas. With 7 million square feet of facilities and 40,000 students, Clear Creek ISD is one of the few in-house K12s that has certified for the Custodial Industry Management Standard (CIMS) with Honors and CIMS Green Building in 2010 and again in 2012. Harris, an IICRC Master Cleaner and Restorer, served on the ISSA K12 Standard committee and has been an industry trainer for years. An ISSA Certified Expert (ICE), Harris has served as Committee Chair for the Texas Association of School Business Officials Maintenance and Operations Committee in 2008 and is certified as a Registered Texas School Business Official.
Michael A. Pinto, CSP, CMP, is chief executive officer (CEO) of Wonder Makers Environmental Inc. He focuses on common sense practices that work when health professionals are faced with threats from swine or avian flu, MRSA outbreaks, norovirus exposures, and nosocomial infection problems in healthcare facilities. This broad perspective has allowed him to integrate concepts from a variety of industry groups into a synergistic process which produces documentable results. Pinto is the author of over 150 published articles and several books including, Fungal Contamination: A Comprehensive Guide for Remediation. He completed doctoral course work in environmental engineering and holds numerous certifications in the environmental and safety areas including Certified Safety Professional and Certified Mold Professional. He was selected as part of the Mitigation Assessment Team for FEMA following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and was a contributor to the EPA’s Healthy Homes Initiative. Benjamin Tanner is the president of Antimicrobial Test Laboratories, a contract research facility. He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arizona, where he studied infectious disease transmission in the environment. He founded Antimicrobial Test Laboratories in 2006 after enjoying years as a microbiologist with The Clorox Company. Since then he has overseen thousands of antimicrobial efficacy studies for industry, academia and government.
