Are there any new floor products that will remove the salt residue on hard floors (ceramic tile, VCT)?

We are presently using a neutral cleaner or white vinegar.

Seems like it always takes 2-3 rinses, very labor intensive even with an autoscrubber.

Thursday’s Answer:

I'm not sure of anything truly new.

Some manufacturers make a neutralizer for ice melt compounds such as calcium chloride.

I'm sure a Web search will turn up more.

Ordinary salt is water-soluble and should be fairly easy to get into solution and remove.
