LINCOLNWOOD, IL — ISSA has conducted several meetings with U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) officials, the U.S. Small Business Administration and U.S. Congressional representatives in recent weeks, according to ISSA.
The meetings are part of ISSA's ongoing efforts to mitigate the anticipated substantial adverse economic impact that the upcoming Federal Strategic Sourcing Initiative (FSSI) will have on the commercial cleaning products industry, the article stated.
According to the article, a meeting conducted November 14 with the GSA's Associate Administrator for Small Business Utilization resulted in the JanSan Request for Quotation's (RFQ) response date being extended to December 5, allowing ISSA additional time to make its case.
