Foley was originally a Navy carrier pilot, but he developed into one of the top pilots in the world after he became Lead Solo of the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team.
An engaging speaker, Foley will tell ISSA/INTERCLEAN attendees about his personal path for achievement and explain how setbacks and disappointments turned into learning and improvement opportunities.
Further, he will discuss how teams can pursue their highest goals while improving performance and maintaining results.
Tony Hsieh: Wednesday, 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
After developing and selling the LinkExchange advertising network for $265 million, Hsieh joined Zappos, an online apparel and shoe retailer, as an adviser and investor.
As the CEO of Zappos, Hsieh grew gross merchandise sales to more than $1 billion annually, helped the company make Fortune’s “Best Companies to Work For” list and led Zappos through an acquisition by Amazon in November of 2009.
Hsieh will discuss building a lasting brand, developing a unique company culture and the importance of customer service.
David Blaine: Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
For over 10 years, Blaine has been performing high-profile endurance stunts, including being buried alive, being encased in a six-ton block of ice and standing atop a 100-foot pillar for 36 hours.
Blaine has entertained U.S. presidents and foreign dignitaries, performed with Michael Jackson during a Super Bowl halftime show and raised money for charity with a 72-hour magic performance in Times Square.
At ISSA/INTERCLEAN 2013, Blaine will share stories of passion and determination and discuss challenging the concept of impossible during his keynote address.
