The 90-minute session will explore the IEHA Media Assistance Program (IMAP) which is designed to fulfill:

•             The media’s need for expert information around better housekeeping and public health
•             IEHA members’ desire to apply their “IEHA Education” to meet the public’s need for factual information, provide information to the press, and receive recognition & coverage.

IMAP Outline:

IEHA is the Hub / IEHA Members are the Spokes.

Press Hub Delegates (PhDs) are the "Spokespersons"

“Everyone who is an IEHA Member and provides a biz card at the ISSA Show gets a PhD badge,” notes IEHA CEO Beth Risinger.  “ In fact, they will get several, one to wear (with an adhesive strip for mounting on their badge holder) and two to hand out as calling cards with their name and topical suggestions.  We will tap these contacts to begin pitching the media on behalf of IEHA members.”

“IEHA ‘PhDs’ that provide topics for trade media exposure will be first to get press in 2014,” notes Allen Rathey, president of The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) and The Healthy House Institute (HHI), IMAP press representative and creator of IMAP.
