Friday’s Question:ICANATEX Logo

I have a customer who asked me to give him a bid price to clean 10,000-15,000 chairs.

They are used for convention center banquets. Will someone help me with a price and give a time estimated to clean all chairs?

Friday’s Answer:

We have no way of knowing this. It is a factor of the time required to do whatever is needed.

Take a comparable chair and time the operation. Then multiply that by 10 to 15K so you can have an accurate time for the size of the cushions, the fabric, the wood or metal wipe down, etc.

Make certain to have a time on the change-out from one chair to the next and for the time necessary to move them ... Lynn E. Krafft, ICANATEX editor
