How do you remove black heel marks from vinyl tile floors?

Monday’s Answer:

I've seen recommendations for using nail polish remover, baking soda paste, lighter fluid, mineral spirits and even WD-40, so there may be a chemical assist with one of these.

However, before adding anything to the finished surface that may damage it or make it slick, I'd try the dry eraser method.
