"Improve Your Office Day" Is October 4, 2013

HAMILTON, OH — If you have been following the Kaivac Facebook page , then you know that Friday, October 4th is "Improve Your Office Day."
This day invites office workers around the world to find ways to make their work area and surrounding environment more pleasant and enjoyable as well as cleaner and healthier.
Over the past 30 days, Kaivac (developers of the No-Touch Cleaning® and OmniFlex™ Crossover Cleaning systems) has begun posting tips each week on its Facebook site suggesting steps we can all take to ensure our work environment is clean, safe, and healthy.
The month-long postings have included the following tips:
•    Organizing Desk Drawers
•       Eliminating Hazards in the Workplace
•       Making Your Office More Sustainable

•       How to Make Your Office More Fun
"We hope people have taken advantage of these tips and, even more, taken steps to improve their office," says Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac. "When you think about how much time many of us spend behind a desk, maintaining a clean, organized, healthy workspace is very important."
Morrison adds that he hopes the day has also encouraged workers to spread a little goodwill around the office.
"For example, if you buy flowers for your desk, consider buying a second batch for someone you work with. Or if you pick up an attractive wall hanging for your space, get something similar and ask if someone else in the office would like to have it."
