ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2013
The Best Game in Town

LINCOLNWOOD, IL — This year’s ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2013 show promises to be a sure bet for the industry’s top leaders this November 18-21 in Las Vegas, NV. ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and its partner, Amsterdam RAI, have tailored multiple aspects of this year’s event based on attendee requests. The result has been a steady stream of registrations ever since the changes were announced.

Among the exciting changes are:
•    More time to network with expanded exhibit hours
•    Three days with keynote speakers centrally located right on the trade show floor
•    New Know Your Customer, Workforce Development, and Young Executive seminar tracks
•    A new ISSA Meeting Hub where attendees can preplan private business meetings
•    New bistro dining at the exhibition that participants can reserve ahead of time.

More exhibitors also will be on hand in 2013—nearly 700 from more than 30 countries, including more than 125 new companies—reinforcing ISSA/INTERCLEAN’s standing as one of the top 100 tradeshows in North America. Visitors will find a growing number of providers offering solutions within and outside of traditional cleaning to meet their specific needs. A full list of exhibitors is available at www.issa.com/exhibitors.

Each exhibition day kicks off with a powerful keynote address, covering the range of motivational to executive advice, to Vegas-style entertainment. This year’s keynoters include:

•    Col. John Foley, Blue Angel squadron leader, Tuesday, November 19: 8:15–9:30 a.m.
•    Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, Wednesday, November 20: 8:15–9:30 a.m.
•    David Blaine, renowned magician and escape artist, Thursday, November 21, 9:00-10:00 a.m., co-sponsored by the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI).

More details on each speaker, including personal video invites, are available at www.issa.com/keynote.

The top-notch education continues with a lineup of leading business and industry experts presenting more than 45 seminars and partial-day workshops as part of the ISSA Convention. More than 50 percent of this year’s sessions will feature by new-to-ISSA speakers. Topics will range from updates on 2013 government mandated training requirements to applying health care best practices in commercial settings, winning RFPs to harnessing social media, executive planning to staffing strategies that increase profits—and more!

Planning & Navigation
Visitors can plan ahead using a combination of their registration dashboard and the popular ISSA/INTERCLEAN mobile app. Registrants can request a list of exhibitors based on product and service category and request meetings right in their online dashboard.

The mobile app, available at www.issa.com/app and sponsored by Diversey, includes a regularly updated event schedule and exhibitor list. Handy features also include turn-by-turn directions to find exhibitors as well as a “Here & Now” feature that tells attendees what is of interest within a radius of their location on the trade show floor. A new exhibit scavenger hunt also will be available via the mobile app with chances to win iPad minis.

The Week to Network
ISSA invites event participants to join in its 90th anniversary celebration during the ISSA Show Floor Happy Hour, 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 20.  Meanwhile, a new ISSA Excellence Ceremony will honor long-standing industry leaders as well as this year’s Customer Service Award winners, starting at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21.

Adding to the networking opportunities, The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA), BSCAI, and the Association of Residential Cleaning Services (ARCSI) all will return with their annual conventions this year. Plus a variety of distributor marketing groups also will be on-hand, hosting member events during the week.

With so much to offer in one location, ISSA/INTERCLEAN, November 18-21, promises to be the one week cleaning professionals won’t want to miss. For more information on ISSA/INTERCLEAN and the ISSA Convention, visit www.issa.com/show, or register at issa.com/register.
