The American dream.
According to Merriam-Webster, the American dream is defined as “an American social ideal that stresses egalitarianism and especially material prosperity,” or “the prosperity or life that is the realization of this ideal.”
There are numerous ways that this dream or ideal can be accomplished, and it’s very likely that no two people will agree on exactly what the American dream is.
