Thursday’s Question:
There is a newly remodeled building that is completely empty. I need to sweep concrete floors, vacuum newly installed carpet, dust walls and clean glass counters and windows.
There are also two single-stall restrooms that are filthy from the construction workers.
There is approximately 12,000 total square feet of carpet and concrete.
How do I charge?
Thursday’s Answer:
Apply your basic square foot pricing.
If you need only to vacuum the carpet in an empty space, you can set a rate such as $.12 per square foot and multiply by the total area that is carpeted.
Same with the other operations.
I have no idea whether you are on your hands and knees with a scrub pad or if you have a 16-inch rotary... – Lynn Krafft, ICAN/ATEX editor.
