BOSSIER CITY, LA — Two Bossier Parish custodians have been arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a charge card, according to KTBS-TV.
Robert Lee Jeter, custodian at Plantation Park Elementary, and Jim Fullwood, custodian at the Butler Educational Complex, used school system charge cards to buy gasoline for their personal vehicles, the story stated.
Danny Dison, chief of security for Bossier Parish schools, said: "We put a little bit more faith in the employees than we should have."
Each school in the parish has a charge card to buy gasoline for maintenance equipment like mowers and lawn trimmers; custodians have access to them, the story noted.
Between the two custodians, the card was used 46 times for a total of $974 in unauthorized fuel purchases, the story added.
