Procter & Gamble personnel changes

CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble announced two personnel changes for 2009, according to The FINANCIAL.
Mariano Martin, global customer business development officer, will retire on June 30, 2009; he will step down from his current role on February 1, 2009, when he will focus on working closely with his successor to ensure a smooth transition with P&G''s retail customers and global customer business development organization, the story stated.
Robert L. Fregolle, Jr., currently vice president of customer business development for P&G Asia, has been named global customer business development officer, effective February 1, 2009, the story noted.
P&G Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer A.G. Lafley said: "Mariano''s vision and leadership has enabled P&G to become a strong partner and preferred supplier to retail customers around the world. Bob has the diverse, global experience to continue to strengthen our customer relationships in this challenging business environment and beyond."
