The January issue of CM/Cleaning & Maintenance Management® magazine is now available online, featuring Robert Kravitz''s Contractor Success article on going green when ''green'' is tight.
Kravitz explains that some of the products used for green cleaning tend to be less expensive in the long run when compared to conventional products — a cost savings that can be passed on to the client.
Kravitz continues, adding that healthier, more advanced cleaning equipment, such as extractors, floor machines, battery-operated equipment, and vacuum cleaners, also tend to be of higher quality, which reduces down time and replacement costs.
He adds that BSCs need to build relationships with their customers that show the value of their work.
The traditional, printed version of the magazine has been mailed to more than 37,000 subscribers.
