a leading cleaning education firm, recently announced an alliance designed to enhance the educational resources, best practices and reputation of facility managers throughout the world, according to a press release
In the first alliance of its kind, ManageMen will assist FEA in helping their clients develop healthy, high-performing facilities through the use of the world’s first engineered and standardized cleaning process, Operating System 1 (OS1)®
, the release stated.
Jim Whittaker, president of FEA, said: "Studies show that custodial costs account for up to 30 percent of a facility manager’s budget; however, many of our clients have no way to measure the efficacy of the cleaning performed in their facilities,” said Jim Whittaker, president of FEA. “The OS1 system is an engineered approach to cleaning that enables superior service levels based on standardized tools and procedures. Specifically, the alliance will enhance the custodial services component of new diagnostics tools and performance indicator programs for FEA clients, the release noted.
Going beyond benchmarking best practices, these programs will enable facility managers to evaluate performance excellence through a qualified management framework so opportunities for improvement can be easily identified, the release added.
