WASHINGTONCleaning & Maintenance Management magazine would like to congratulate the newest Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) certified trainers who successfully completed the three-day course at the Smithsonian Institution on April 21-23.

Rick Alston with Basic Maintenance Supply Inc. in Philadelphia, who co-taught the course, was certified as the newest CMI master trainer at the conclusion of the course.

CMI training teaches custodial best practices that minimize environmental impact, and meets the training requirement set forth by the ISSA''s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS).
CMI’s Train-the-Trainer course provides all of the tools and skills needed to develop a successful training and certification program for your organization and offers front-line custodial training and independent third-party certification.
The next Train-the-Trainer course is slated for May 27-29 at Renton Technical College in Renton, WA.
