The May issue of CM/Cleaning & Maintenance Management® magazine is now available online, featuring Dave Frank''s Raising Standards column on Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certification.
Frank states that many distributors are now offering consulting services to end user customers who want to pursue ISSA''s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certification.
He notes that regardless of how well cleaning operations are run or in what way, CIMS is a great tool for any customer to measure their operations.
Frank adds that many building service contractors (BSCs) and in-house service providers (ISPs) know they can improve their cleaning operations, but they are not sure where to begin.
According to Frank, if BSCs and ISPs can find an ISSA Certification Expert (ICE) distributor, they''ve got an expert partner who can help guide them in achieving well-managed, successful cleaning operations.
David Frank is a 30-year industry veteran and the president of the American Institute for Cleaning Science. AICS is the registrar for the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standards certification program.
