Friday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: Has anyone had success cleaning inside concrete stairwells? If so, what system do you use and how do you keep the water on one level at a time?
The answer:
There are several "spray and vac" restroom cleaning machines on the market that include a wet vacuum attachment.
Kaivac Inc., Tennant Company, Windsor Industries Inc. and others make such equipment.
If this type of equipment is not in your budget, use a bucketless wet mopping system and microfiber flat mop.
