Training facility renamed to honor 40-year veteran employee

ST. LOUIS In honor and appreciation of Rich Parrott''s 40-year career, the Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services training facility was renamed the Rich Parrott Cleaning & Training Center, according to a press release.
A surprise ceremony for Parrott was held on Friday, November 20 at the facility that now bears his name, the release stated.
According to the release, Parrott was hired by Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services as a cleaning technician on November 5, 1969, and through the ensuing four decades, he has tutored and trained dozens of technicians about the intricacies of the upholstery cleaning industry.
Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services Chairman Charlie Woodard said: "Rich Parrott has been a tremendous part of the success of Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services since his first day on the job in 1969. His dedication and attention to detail have benefited not only countless customers but also everyone in this company by virtue of enhancing our reputation locally and nationally. We are proud to rededicate the Rich Parrott Cleaning & Training Center in his honor, and look forward to working with Rich and continuing to learn from his expertise for many more years."
Parrott, who still works full-time at Woodward, was honored with the hanging of a new sign to identify the facility''s new name, the release added.
