ST. LOUIS — In honor and appreciation of Rich Parrott''s 40-year career, the Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services training facility was renamed the Rich Parrott Cleaning & Training Center, according to a press release.
A surprise ceremony for Parrott was held on Friday, November 20 at the facility that now bears his name, the release stated.
According to the release, Parrott was hired by Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services as a cleaning technician on November 5, 1969, and through the ensuing four decades, he has tutored and trained dozens of technicians about the intricacies of the upholstery cleaning industry.

Parrott, who still works full-time at Woodward, was honored with the hanging of a new sign to identify the facility''s new name, the release added.
