SCA makes 'Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations' list

PHILADELPHIA — Global personal hygiene product company SCA has once again been featured in the "2010 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" list, according to a press release.
According to the release, 2010 marks the sixth year in a row the tissue company has been recognized for its sustainability by the Canadian Corporate Knights-sponsored list, which is comprised of companies from 24 countries that effectively seal with environmental and social issues.
Don Lewis, president of SCA Tissue North America, said: "Sustainability is integral to everything we do, and we are delighted that our approach is gaining such global recognition."
The "2010 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations" list was presented on January 27 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, with 21 recognized companies based in the United Kingdom and 12 corporations based in the United States, the release stated.
SCA was also recognized in April of last year by the Ethisphere Institute in New York as one of the world''s most ethical companies, the release added.
