MASON, OHCintas Corporation is accepting nominations for its 2010 America''s Best Restroom Award, given to businesses that incorporate hygiene, functionality and style into their public restrooms, according to The Enquirer.

According to the story, the contest has attracted thousands of votes in its nine-year history and is open to any non-residential, free restroom open to employees, visitors or the public.

Cintas Marketing Manager Richard Bing said: "There is no question that restroom hygiene plays a big role in determining customer satisfaction and repeat business."

Nominations will be accepted through April 26 at the award website, followed by the announcement of up to 10 finalists in July, the release stated.

The public will then cast votes online for the winner — announced in September — and the top five restrooms will be inducted into the America''s Best Restroom Hall of Fame, the release noted.
Past winners include the University of Notre Dame; the John Michael Kohler Art Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin; the Grand Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi; and the Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, and winning restrooms often include creative fixtures and design, the release added.
