IRVING, TX — Kimberly-Clark Corporation was recently named one of the top five corporate citizens in the world by Corporate Responsibility magazine, according to a press release.
Kimberly-Clark was the top non-food consumer products business on the list, placing fifth overall and improving on its 2009 ranking of ninth, the release stated.
Suhas Apte, vice-president of global sustainability at Kimberly-Clark, said: "Our inclusion in this global best corporate citizens list is the result of the exceptional talent and collaboration of our more than 56,000 employees worldwide."
Among the things that Corporate Responsibility magazine said Kimberly-Clark had improved upon in the past year are its corporate governance, human rights and environmental responsibility activities, the release noted.
