Friday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: Is there an independent evaluation of competing training programs with videos? If not, is there a comprehensive listing that I can research and choose from?
The answer:
No. There is no independent evaluation of training programs or materials that I am aware of, although it sounds like a good idea. As for the most comprehensive listings, check out: http://cminstitute.net, www.CleaningPublisher.com, www.Janitorbooks.com, www.bscai.org, www.issa.com.
In addition, a wide variety of associations, manufacturers and consultants offer training materials and seminars. Examples include: APPA, the Cleaning Management Instute (CMI), ISSA, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) and the list goes on. I would suggest... — Rick P.
