Tuesday''s Ask the Experts question from a cleaning professional on the International Custodial Advisors Network (ICAN) "Ask the Experts" page: My company has assigned me to research the both web-based and off-the-shelf software that principally focuses on Quality Assurance, yet offers other components as well. Please advise on the premiere products on the current market.
The answer:
The first thing you should do is type “Janitorial Quality Assurance software” into your search engine and look at what comes to the screen.
In my opinion, a “premiere product” would be one that doesn’t cost a small fortune either up front on for on-going “upgrades”, is easy to use and adjust to your operation, uses a simple “Acceptable/Unacceptable” format, and avoids ambiguous inspection guidelines such as the APPA standards.
