These residential wood cabinets are the first products of their kind to pass the rigorous chemical emissions tests required to earn GREENGUARD certification, the release stated.
According to the release, this means that the cabinets meet some of the world''s most stringent requisites for low chemical emissions and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable residential indoor environment.
"We are thrilled that Executive Cabinetry took the initiative to ensure that their residential wood products are low-emitting," says Henning Bloech, executive director of GEI.
"Not only does this demonstrate the company''s commitment to human health, but it also demonstrates their market leadership: This is the first time that a healthier option for residential wood cabinetry has come into the marketplace. It''s a great boon to the sustainable building and design industry — and to residents," Bloech added.
