LEXINGTON, KY — A Lexington middle school janitor is being remembered one year after he was shot to death at the school, according to WTVQ-TV.
Danny Donato''s friends and co-workers from Leestown Middle School say they''ll never be able to understand why someone would take the life of such a kind person, the article stated.
Danny''s pastor says he rarely missed church, and the entire congregation has missed him since his life was taken last June.
Some of the people at the memorial had known him since he was a teen and said he hadn''t had an easy life, the article stated.
According to the article, he is remembered as a man with a "can-do" attitude; and friends say whatever he set to accomplish, he did.
