VANCOUVER, WA — Paul Pearce, the chairman of the Institution of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), has been selected to serve on the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) 2010-2011 International Section Council, according to a press release.
"Paul has been a critical factor in elevating the IICRC to a global level, thanks to his international perspective," said Patrick Winters, president of IICRC.
"I have no doubt that his participation on this committee will benefit ASAE and the IICRC will benefit from the insights of other ASAE committee members," Winters stated.
Pearce is an IICRC master cleaner, restorer and instructor as well as the owner of Country House Carpet Care in the United Kingdom: Pearce is also a past president of the National Carpet Cleaners Association (NCAA) and the current technical director, the release noted.
"Members of ASAE''s International Section Council bring their own expertise as well as the experience of their organizations to the table to discuss emerging issues and opportunities for associations who wish to work effectively overseas," said Megan Freedman, program director, international, at ASAE.
"We are honored to include Paul and to draw from his perspective and experience with IICRC as we continue to build resources and community for association international practitioners," Freedman added.
