HONOLULU — Team Clean Inc. has become the first professional cleaning company in the state to be awarded Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Green Building certification by the ISSA, according to a press release.
Team Clean is now certified to help clients across Oahu to green their operations overall: In addition, Team Clean can support local facilities, such as hotels and resorts, in their efforts to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM) Green Building rating system, the release stated.
"The attainment of Green Building certification reflects the commitment that each and every one of us at Team Clean has to operational excellence and sustainability — especially our dedication to preserving our natural island environment," said Brian Keala Benz, president of Team Clean Inc.
"I am extremely proud of all of our team members who, working together, were the first to achieve Green Building certification in Hawaii," Benz added.
