Outstanding Utica school employees honored

UTICA, NY — Crowds packed Tuesday night''s Utica School Board meeting in support of two very dedicated employees of the Utica school system, according to WKTV-TV.
The first award was for outstanding employee and was presented to Louis Castelli, for the work he''s done as a custodian for JFK Middle School, the article stated.
Fellow teachers say Castelli is much more than a custodian: He''s worked in the Utica School District for 14 years, the article noted.
According to the article, Castelli is a Proctor High School graduate, who is known for always going to extra mile.
Josephine Tebano, an Italian language teacher at JFK Middle School, was also honored with the Educator of the Month award.
