Mold forces residents from apartments

BATTLE CREEK, MI — Some residents of a Battle Creek apartment building are scrambling to find a new home after the city found mold and other problems inside some of the buildings, according to WOOD-TV.
The city vacated 55 units of Glenwood Trace Apartments in Battle Creek because of excessive mold and other violations, the article stated.
Residents forced to leave their apartments have to be out by Wednesday: The apartment owners have reached out to other complexes to arrange housing for the displaced, the article noted.
According to the article, the city expects even more residents will be affected when inspections of all units begin on Monday.
