TORONTO — Workers at Westmont-owned hotels are once again on strike in Toronto, this time at the downtown Holiday Inn Express, according to The Star.

, about 25 employees from the hotel walked off the job as part of a one-day strike.
The walk-off marks the sixth time employees of the hotel chain have gone on strike in Toronto within the last two weeks, the article noted.
Workers from other hotels in the city, including the Hyatt Regency and the Royal York, began striking in the lead-up to the Toronto International Film Festival
— when numerous celebrities began staying in the hotels, the article stated.
Some of the 2,000 Westmont Hospitality Group
workers in the GTA have been without a contract since last February, the article added.
