Spartan announces regional manager appointment

Jason Paschall has been promoted to the position of regional manager for Spartan Chemical Company''s Oklahoma region.

Paschall is no stranger to the janitorial supply industry, having extensive experience in the laundry, warewashing and housekeeping arenas.

Core Products Company Inc. hires sales manager

Rich Saskiewicz has been promoted to the position of North American sales manager for Core Products.

Saskiewicz joined Core Products as a consultant in August 2006. He assumed the role of regional account manager in August 2007.

With more than 25 years of extensive field sales, research, marketing and formulation experience in the development of acrylic polymers for floor polishes and sealers, Saskiewicz has already proven to be a great asset.

WAXIE marketing manager elected president of USGBC-San Diego chapter

The U.S. Green Building Council-San Diego chapter has named their executive committee for the upcoming year and Keith Schneringer, marketing manager for WAXIE Sanitary Supply, has been re-elected the president of the chapter for 2009.

Schneringer has served on the Board of Directors for the chapter since 2005, and has been instrumental in helping to grow interest in the chapter and provide green building education to San Diego County.

Schneringer has coordinated the LEED Technical Review Workshops in San Diego since 2006, and served as chapter secretary in 2007 and chapter president in 2008.

Kaivac announces new U.S. sales director

Tim Wolf has been promoted to U.S. sales director for Kaivac Inc. Wolf has been with Kaivac for nearly three years.

A 2004 graduate of Purdue University, his first duties with Kaivac were to oversee manufacturer''s representatives as well as distributor sales and marketing in three key Midwestern states.

As U.S. sales director, Wolf''s responsibilities will essentially expand to include the entire U.S.

Stephen Mohr joins Unisource Worldwide

Stephen Mohr has been appointed as Unisource''s director of packaging and marketing and will direct marketing activities, build brand awareness and develop business opportunities in the packaging area.

With more than 25 years of experience in professional marketing roles, Mohr''s creative abilities have led to the introduction of many new products in the marketplace.


JohnsonDiversey earns Business Achievement Award

The Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) has recognized JohnsonDiversey''s ProSpeed® floor-finishing system with an award for waste management and pollution control.

The EBJ has chosen ProSpeed to receive a technical merit award for its reduced water use and floor finish savings as well as its reduced emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

During its first 10 weeks of deployment, ProSpeed saved customers an estimated 71,400 gallons of water and 8,200 gallons of floor finish.

Kaeser announces ENERGY STAR partnership

IFMA chapter donates $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity

The Delaware Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) presented a check for $25,000 to Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County at its holiday luncheon last month.

The funds were proceeds from the Delaware Chapter''s 17th annual golf tournament, held at Brandywine Country Club in Wilmington.

The Delaware Chapter has supported the local Habitat for Humanity through proceeds from its annual golf outing since 1995.
