Enviro-Solutions hires Mark Warner

Mark Warner will head three key divisions of the company, including: Regional sales manager for the Atlantic seaboard; director of training; and product manager of disinfectants and sanitizers.

Warner is a Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certified expert and is the current president of the Low Moisture Carpet Cleaners Association (LMCCA).

ProTeam sales executives are CIMS certified

ProTeam Inc. is proud to announce that the following key sales executives have completed ISSA''s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) certification training: Bob Cusick, Rich Stanley, Ray Noonan and Rich Steinberg.

Dri-Eaz Products Inc. hires two

Mark Wierda has been hired as senior account manager with responsibility for the Southeast U.S. and certain key accounts. Wierda has over 25 years of industry-related experience, including many years in the janitorial supplies industry.

Keith Armstrong is a new sales account manager based at Dri-Eaz headquarters in Burlington, Washington. Armstrong, who is responsible for accounts in the Midwest and New England areas, has a strong background in sales, marketing and business development, including sport-related marketing and medical equipment sales.


ISSA and BSCAI announce partnership

The International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) and the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) announced that the BSCAI Convention & Trade Show will co-locate with ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America, starting in 2010.

BSCAI will no longer host an independent exhibition; however, it will continue to offer sponsorship and other vendor-partner programs.

Leaders of both organizations have made it clear that the co-location agreement affects only the events in question and that ISSA and BSCAI will remain independent associations, serving the needs of their respective members in ways that are unique to each.

Core Products Company Inc. featured on television show

Core''s signature Green Seal-certified product, Hydroxi Pro Concentrate, was used during a recent green makeover of a New Jersey fire station as a viable, green alternative to a traditional, caustic products on the reality series Wa$ted.

The specific episode where Hydroxi Pro Concentrate is used will be aired May 6, 2009, on Planet Green, a subsidiary of The Discovery Network.

Tennant Company and Kaivac Inc. team up

Tennant and Kaivac recently announced a strategic sales and service arrangement that enables Tennant to provide its customers with Kaivac''s industry-leading restroom cleaning solutions.

Tennant will sell Kaivac''s No-Touch Cleaning restroom solutions to its national account customers to help more customers address the difficult challenge of maintaining clean and healthy restroom environments.

CIRI to acquire KaiScience website

The Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI) announced that it is in the final stages of acquiring the KaiScience website that is currently owned and operated by Kaivac Inc.

Kaivac''s CEO Bob Robinson Sr. offered to donate the website to CIRI at no cost.

The new website,, will accelerate progress toward what the cleaning industry has been asking for — a credible source for the latest scientific research focused on cleaning.

Novozymes A/S named one of 100 most sustainable companies

Novozymes A/S, the parent company of Novozymes Biologicals, has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the top 100 companies that will still be around in the year 2109.

The list was generated by measuring what companies are doing best in several major sustainability-related areas, including human capital, environmental risks, governance and more.
