TEMPLE, TX — A mold infestation at the Temple Police Headquarters has forced the city to file a lawsuit against the contractors who recently built it, according to KXXV-TV.
The lawsuit alleges negligence and "defective workmanship" on behalf of the contractors, which lead to the second recent mold problem for the Temple Police Department, the article stated.
The city accuses the contractors with a lack of supervision during the development of air conditioning units that eventually became severely corroded, the article noted.
According to the article, the Temple-based company Baird-Williams Construction was listed in the lawsuit, along with Brinkley Sargent Architects, M-E Engineers and a Mr. Allen Tochihara.
