Give a little respect

PITTSBURG, PA — When Duquesne University dorm residents wake up on Monday mornings, one of the only things they look forward to is a clean bathroom, but they rarely think to say thank you to the people who are responsible for cleaning up, according to The Duquesne Duke.
Towers housekeeper Twana Sampson, more fondly known as Ms. T, can recall having to clean up strawberries and eggs that had been smashed into the carpet, the article stated.
According to the article, while some may find destroying property a funny prank while in the midst of a drunken stupor, it is disrespectful to the housekeepers.
But, even after recalling some of the worst cleanups, Ms. T said of the residents, "I love every one of my children, my young ladies and men in the past three years."
They deserve a little recognition — though that is not to say they never get any, the article noted.
