WALESKA, GA — Pest control crews were suited up as they moved in to clean up a dormitory at Reinhardt University
after bedbugs were discovered, according to WGCL-TV.
The university evacuated the dorm, moving 71 male students to a nearby gymnasium where cots were set up, the article noted.
The university said that it was steam cleaning every mattress and every crevice in the 50-room dorm, though the bugs were only found in two rooms, the article stated.
According to the article, Reinhardt University officials told a CBS affiliate in Atlanta
that they have since inspected the other dorms on campus; all have received a clean bill of health.
