FT. MEYERS, FL — SERVPRO of Collier County/Ft. Myers South announced it will be hosting the inaugural "Golfing for Charity" event on October 15, 2010, according to Naples News.
The charity event is open to the public: The entry for each player is $85, which includes cart and green fees, two beverages on the course and the Scoreboard Party following the tournament, the article stated.
According to the article, all monetary proceeds will benefit the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
The event is co-sponsored by Spectrum Contracting and Sherwin Williams, and other sponsorships spots are available, the article noted.
"We''re proud to be part of this community and this is just a small way to give back after so much has been given to us," said Ken Smith, co-owner of SERVPRO of Collier County/Ft. Myers South.
"The Harry Chapin Food Bank is a great cause, and we''re thrilled to have a chance to support it," Smith added.
