OTTAWA, CANADA — UGL Unicco announced the renewal of its contract with Carleton University, according to a press release.
The new five-year agreement expands the previous facilities services management contract to include custodial services, residence housekeeping services, subcontractor management, as well as operations and maintenance, the release stated.
"The expanded contract is testimony to the services that UGL Unicco has provided in the past and the expectation of the service levels that they will deliver in the future," said Carleton University Assistant Director of Maintenance Services Kevin Gallinger.
"They are providing a comprehensive set of services that is responsive to the day-to-day needs of our students and staff while keeping our facilities in good repair for the long term," Gallinger added.
According to the release, campus-wide sustainability is at the center of UGL Unicco''s approach: The company is applying advanced cleaning and maintenance technologies and practices through its award-winning UGL Unicco GreenClean facilities services program.
