A recent survey from Kaivac''s newsletter Kai-Leidoscope found that most cleaning professionals do not use scientific measurement systems to determine cleaning effectiveness. Nearly 30 percent said they measure cleanliness by using their senses of sight and smell. Fourteen percent use the judgment of their cleaning staff, and only 16 percent use scientific measurement tools and data like adenosine triphosphate (ATP) rapid monitoring systems.
